The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum Writing Group
The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum Writing Group is a friendly informal group supporting writers at all levels with meetings taking place at an inspiring venue.
The writing group meets on the second Saturday of each month in the Birth Room at the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum, by the market square in Lichfield city centre, and runs from 2pm to 3.30pm. It is a community group run by volunteers and attendance is free of charge.
All you need to attend is an interest in creative writing and something to write with (pen and paper, or laptop) and your imagination.

Unreal Writers
Unreal Writers
An emerging community of Speculative fiction writers centred upon Birmingham will be holding its first in-person meet-up on Saturday 28th March from 1-3pm at the Exchange, 3 Centenary Square, Birmingham. If you enjoy writing in any of these genres, Science fiction, Fantasy, or Horror you might find this community to be of interest. It goes by the name of Unreal Writers on account of the idea that they write about things which aren’t real. The upcoming meeting is open to all. You can learn more by taking a look at the Unreal Writers website at: https://unrealwriters.beehiiv.com.
